Repeat Shoplifter Arrested

Repeat Shoplifter Arrested

Following a recent media appeal and ongoing proactive patrols in Cranbrook, I have identified and dealt with a repeat shoplifter responsible for a number of theft offences at the Co-op store.

As a result of enquiries carried out by myself and information received from the public, a suspect was identified and subsequently stopped. The individual has now been charged in relation to five separate shoplifting offences committed at the Co-op in Cranbrook.

This result highlights the effectiveness of proactive policing and the support of the local community in helping tackle repeat offending. I will continue to carry out regular high-visibility patrols and work with local retailers to prevent and deter shoplifting within the town.
